ProducingTheatre.com is a small project. We aim to share the knowledge of experienced producers and equip emerging producers with the information they need to succeed.

As a result, while we are open to publishing articles from new contributors, there are a few things to know before you rush to submit anything.

Unfortunately, we are not able to pay writers for their submissions.

At ProducingTheatre.com, we support paying artists for their work, but currently, we do not have the resources to pay writers for content.

If you wish to write for us, we will be grateful for your contribution to our knowledge base.

Should this change, we’ll be in touch with anyone who has contributed.

We only accept writing from experts in a relevant field.

If you do not have a strong background in the professional performing arts, please do not ask to write for us.

People we would love to hear from are:

  • Professional producers who have worked in live performing arts (e.g. dance, theatre, music, circus).
  • Performing arts professionals writing about producing from their expert point of view (e.g. a designer talking about how to best work with a producer).

Please do not send any writing without first contacting us.

For the sake of everyone’s intellectual property, you shouldn’t send us writing without talking to us first.

If you think you can contribute to our library of knowledge and ideas and write for us, please reach out using the contact form. Please send us a link to your resume, CV or Linkedin profile. If you wish, you can send us a link to any published writing.

We’ll come back to you by email if we like your work.
